Yes. The JSON is read and parsed entirely inside your browser using JavaScript — it is never uploaded to Tax-Eazy or any server. Close the tab and nothing is retained.

Which ITR forms are supported?+

The tool reads the standard JSON schema used by the Income Tax Department and works best with ITR-1 and ITR-4, and extracts the common computation lines from ITR-2 and ITR-3 too. If a field isn't present in your JSON, it is simply skipped.

Where do I get the JSON file?+

Download it from the Income Tax e-Filing portal under e-File → Income Tax Returns → View Filed Returns → Download JSON, or use the pre-filled JSON from the offline utility.

Is the computation legally valid?+

It is a convenience summary generated from your own JSON for review and record-keeping. Always cross-check it against your filed return. For certified computations or filing, our experts are happy to help.

The PDF is missing some figures — why?+
